Each pad comes with a magnet stabilizer to be glued in the cup like any other stabilizer. There is no need to remove the spud. The stabilizer and the pad can accommodate it. There is a hole both in the stabilizer and the bottom part of the pad. There will be an updated photo of the pads. This is one of the previous versions. We have since changed the leather and replaced iron rubber with silicone rubber which is a little bit softer.
