Return and warranty protection: Our flutes are shipped in a perfectly playable condition free of mechanical flaws, and leaks. If for some reason the flute goes out of adjustment, you can use the adjustment screws yourself, or bring it to your technician. All flutes go out of adjustment, no matter how expensive. Our warranty and return are not “no questions asked” and if there is a serious problem that we missed, we will repair it, or you can send it back. If you are not able to adjust it, we will assign a flute technician to repair it. Shipping to and from the local service person is not included. This policy is what allows us to offer ridiculously low prices, and we hope you appreciate that.

Perfectly adjusted and great sounding open hole flute

B foot, silver plated mechanism, felt pads, alloy springs, split E mechanism, drawn toneholes, open holes, copper alloy body and head.

This flute resembles gold and silver, and it’s beautiful, however you need to be very careful with the body so that the lacquer doesn’t wear off too soon. For cleaning you can use Yamaha lacquer polish available around the world as far as I know. Eventually the lacquer will wear off, and it will need to be re-applied. Check your local brass instrument repair shop. They might be experienced with the process, although any flute repair shop could do it as well. Just take it apart, lightly polish, and spray with good quality transparent lacquer. In the meantime if you notice some spots that have developed tarnish, you can use a little bit of lacquer spray locally. Just clean the spot first of greese and dirt.
